Mass in Motion 2013 Golden Shovel Award for Wakefield

A clear sidewalk is a safe sidewalk....help your neighbors, support lcoal businesss and promote safe walking routes! Nominate a neighbor or a friend who clears your sidewalk after a snowstorm or a business who does a great job with snow removal/keeping the sidwalks clear.

WHEN: By MARCH 15, 2013 HOW: Write a short email describing their efforts and send to the Mass in Motion Health Grant Coordinator for Wakefield Area: Kara Showers  KShowers@cityofmelrose.org or write Kara Showers, Health Dept. 1 Lafayette Street Wakefield, MA 01880.  INCLUDE: The business name or first and last name as well as address of person you are nominating. If known, the email and phone number. WINNER will receive a pair of SLIP ON SNOW ICE TREADS for shoes and be entered int a drawing to recieve one of these prizes donated by Wakefield Area Chamber: T-Shirt from T-Stop; Free Detail (wax and buff) from 1st Class Auto Body; Snow Shovel and Ice Melt from Harts Hardware.
