
Admission will be free the two days of the Exhibition, and artists will be required to attend the evening reception on May 22nd in the Heritage Room. Art will be for sale both days, and show exhibit will travel for select pieces to Main Street stores and restaurants for Shop Dine & Stroll Weeks from May 24 through June 8th Festival by the Lake. Downtown Wakefield features a walking route, lake, common, rockery fountain, veterans memorials and civil war and historic cemetery dating back to 1600s. Just a mile off 128/95 at exits 39, 40 Wakefield also features many cuttural venues such as the Beebe Library, four antique stores, an authentic Deptartment Store in alano's, an old fashioned malt shop in Cravings Ice Cream, Linden Tree Coffee House and Center for Performing Arts, clothing boutiques featured on 104.9FM during Small Business Month, and a choice of great restaurants.
